Important notice: old email available at mail.campus.ie will be accessible until June 12th 2009. After this date access to old mail will be permanently terminated. Please forward any important mail to your new campus.ie email account.

If you cannot log in, this may be down to one of two problems:

1: My Username is not working?

Your old username started with a number, eg: 123456@campus.ie

Our new service security settings does not allow this type of username. As your email address starts with a number, it cannot be supported by our new service.

To allow you to continue to use the service, we have added the characters 'ca_' to the start of your username.

For example, if your username was '123456@campus.ie', it will now be 'ca_123456@campus.ie'.

This will give you your new username to log in to campus.ie.

Please advise all your contacts that your current username has changed. You can perhaps change your email address to a new username, starting with a letter as opposed to a number.

2. My Password is not working?

Your password was less than 6 Characters long eg: ‘mary’ and our new service requires it to be 6 characters or more, for security reasons.

If your old password is less than 6 characters, we have added the characters ‘ca_’ to it to give you a new valid password.

So if your old password was ‘mary’ it is now ‘ca_mary’.

A Limited amount of users have had both username and password changed, please check your old details for this.

3. How Do I get to my old email?

Due to the nature of our current email service, we cannot move the old mail from current inboxes to the new service, but you can access your old mail by clicking on this link:

mail.campus.ie

This will still be accessed using your old username, eg; 123456@campus.ie. And password eg: 'Mary'.

Important notice: Old mail will be unavailable after May 31st 2009

Our new mail service is supported by Google, and is similar to the gmail service, but will retain the campus.ie address and will be controlled by campus.ie. The new service can hold 7 Gigabytes of mail, so no more deleting!
